Britney's Weekend Vegas Vacation

Britney spent a respectable, shoes-on weekend in Vegas, seeing a few shows, dining at a few foodie hotspots and, most importantly, keeping residency rumors at fever pitch.
Brit was spied heading in and out of Caesars Palace all weekend long where it was all about the shoooz, or should we say...

Missed Shania At Caesars? Head Over to the Quad

Upset you missed out on your Shania Twain fix this December? We have a solution and good news for all you Twain-iacs. In a curious piece of synergy, Frank Marino’s Divas Las Vegas has a new tweak that nods to their superstar neighbor directly across the street at Caesars.
Andrew Ryan, who performs as Katy Perry in Divas, will now be adding a Shania Twain tribute to the production. Ryan will be performing a medley that includes “That Don’t Impress Me Much” and “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” We bet you saw the last one coming. Divas promises the male dance troupe will be wearing suitably cowboy themed attire. You probably saw that one coming, too.

Shania Twain Is So Ready To Prove She's Still The One
"There will be a horse on stage."
That's the promise from Shania Twain, tanned, rested and ready to prove that her live performance hiatus was just a prelude to her best concerts yet. A 120-date residency right on The Strip. And, they start right now.

Vegas Is Beginning To Look A Lot Like Nashville This Christmas

The Devil went down to Fremont. Fan of country music? Consider moving to Las Vegas for December. It's everywhere.
We were at Caesars pondering the eminent arrival of Shania Twain when we noticed she had already muscled her way into the gift shop alongside Elton John. A move akin to country music's dominance of the city all next month. Sir Elton has yet to announce his return residency dates for performing next year and the Caesars Box Office officially says "To Be Announced." But, listening to local rumors, we say don't hold your breath. Anyway, a quick nose around reveals that Shania is one of a bushel of performers making this a stellar, country-fried Christmas.

Shania Twain: I'm On A Horse!

Somewhere, Faith and Tim are going back to the drawing board after Shania Twain went all country Matrix on The Strip to kick off her residency at Caesars.
The country superstar cantered down a closed Las Vegas Boulevard Wednesday afternoon alongside some 40 horses, giving us the perfect opportunity to write a story filled with things like, 'man, she must really feel like a woman,' 'she is still the one' and 'that does impress me much.' Well, we're sorry, but we're not going to go there.

Show Openings: Two Souls, A Grand Arrival, And One Sore Butt
Coco took one step closer to filling out the Bo Peep baby blues Monday after completing her first day of rehearsal. On her Facebook page, she announced that she danced in ballroom heels for six hours and needs to put some pads in them shoes because man, do (her) feet hurt!! She also fills us in that her signature butt is sore from moving her whole body all day with just ten minute breaks.
The aching we feel we can understand but, after watching her butt dance in its own time zone standing still, we expected that Coco booty to be born to shake. Coco observers have noted that she's lost weight, but we aren't sure if that might result in more Bo or less Peep. Regardless, we've been rattling our brain trying to recall the sheep herders of Peepshows past dancing in high heels. Walk, walk, pillow, pillow, strip, strip, shake, shake. Nope, dancing isn't what we recall.

Shania Twain to Bring Her Country Lovin' to Caesars Palace in 2012

Come December 2012, Shania Twain will be saying, and singing, "Honey I'm Home" to Caesars Palace.
Yes, Caesars is hiring Shania as its fifth diva (Celine, Elton, Cher and Bette) to do a residency at the Colosseum. The country singer will do 60 shows over two years, starting on December 1, 2012. The show will be called, "Still The One", the title of one of Shania's biggest hits.
Plans for the show are still in the works but Shania says she's going to go "nuts." Hmm..."that don't impress me much!" Kidding! We bet the show will be a mix between Celine's high production that's fit for a Grammy-winning songstress like Shania and country king Garth Brooks' low-key show at Encore where he takes requests from fans in the audience.
Indeed, Shania said aside from getting back on stage performing again (she's been on a long hiatus), she's most looking forward to interacting with her fans again.
