If you opt for it, you'll be contributing to the UNICEF Tap Project, which helps bring clean water to children in developing countries. But, it's not just SushiSamba. A bunch of other restaurants will be offering the same thing next week, March 19-25, as part of World Water Week. You can see the full list of participating restaurants around the country here here but in Vegas, only Nobu Las Vegas at Hard Rock is also participating.
Ahem, Border Grill, this could be your time to do the right thing... at least for a week.

Just because it's one of the busiest times of the year for Vegas, doesn't mean you can't find summertime specials up, down and beyond The Strip.
Kick summer up a notch at Lagasse's Stadium inside Palazzo. Stop by for lunch and you can get your choice of corn oysters with pepper jelly, fish tacos with black bean salsa, beef sliders, or a New Orleans sausage with a frosty mug of beer for, bam!, $15.
After you swig that down, here are a few more ways to save some bucks, or enjoy some limited-time offers, this summer:

Last night, we took a walk around the pools at The Palazzo and dove into the various restaurants participating in this year's Epicurean Affair. The Nevada Restaurant Association (NvRA) puts on this gourmet event/cocktail party to showcase their different restaurants. We've been to many of the 60 or so restaurants, but were excited to see what the others had to offer and to sample some new things (like sushi from SushiSamba).
Epicurean Affair set up the restaurants and beverage providers around the six pools at The Palazzo and, eventually, it became so crowded that we had to yell to get through the traffic - "Please move…We have too many electronics on us to fall in the pool." That worked and we were able to dive into more food. The Kobe beef meatball from Lavo were fantastic - super cheesy, if you're into that sort of thing like we were. We also enjoyed a sweet pink vodka drink.

Just when we were getting hungry again after Vegas Uncork'd comes another slice of foodie heaven.
The Venetian and Palazzo will host their annual Epicurean Affair in just a few days on May 26 giving us another chance to test the limits of our jeggings. Held poolside under the stars, eats will be offered by such restos as Delmonico, Dos Caminos, Morels, Origin India, Tao, SUSHISAMBA, and more.
As the tragedy in Japan continues to unfold in heart-wrenching detail after a massive 8.9 quake, a Vegas sushi restaurant is doing its small part to aid with relief. And, you play a huge role.
Every time a diner noshes on a specially created $12 sushi roll at SUSHISAMBA, the Palazzo resto will donate the entire cost to the Red Cross. If you're not coming through Vegas anytime soon, the charity roll is also available at sister SUSHISAMBA locations in New York, Chicago and Miami.
If you prefer to skip the roll, The New York Times lists 12 other ways you can help provide relief to survivors.
Sushi, how we love you so. Maybe not as much as that British actor who says he dropped seven pounds by eating one piece a day (and nothing else), but we still heart you a lot.
Now, SUSHISAMBA wants to teach us some sushi skillz of our own. The Palazzo resto recently launched "SUSHI + SAKE 101," bi-monthly classes for the roll-inept, but you'll need a bit of a bankroll in order to sign up.

Eating good food, social (and actual) networking while raising money for charity – sounds good, right? Right. Tonight at 6.30pm SushiSamba at the Palazzo is holding a nationwide Tweetup and donating the proceeds to the American Red Cross’ Haiti fund.
But we have to remind ourselves that the next time we pop in, to do it between the hours of 4 and 7pm, Sundays through Thursdays for Happy Hour. $5 mojitos. $5 caipirinhas. $4, $5 and $6 aperitivos, priced according to the hour you visit (so your salt and pepper squid costs a miniscule $4 if you get there first thing). Could it get any better?
Er, yes it could. From 11pm to 1am, they drop those cocktail prices down again. This could easily be our new obsession. Is rehab in our future for 2010? Quite possibly.

Hard to believe it’s been ten years since yours truly spent New Year’s Eve at the first-ever SUSHISAMBA restaurant in New York City (man, what a way that was to ring in the new millennium).
To honor the brand’s diamond anniversary, SUSHISAMBA restaurants all over the world are throwing epic parties next week. SUSHISAMBA Strip, the Las Vegas outpost located inside the Palazzo, will host a killer bash on Nov. 18.
The night begins with a private party at 9 p.m.; public festivities start at 10:30 p.m.
