And Then There Were Four in the Fierce Top Chef Competition

Oooh, this week was a goody on Top Chef Las Vegas. We’re down to final five contestants who were giving it their all for the last challenge in Vegas and with Robin finally out of the way, we can focus on the real talent of this competition.

The intro scene is full all things Hallmark-y stuff that pull on your heartstrings. Kevin throws on a rosary and hails his wife Callie as his inspiration to win. Aww…as if we needed another reason to route for this sweet ‘ole Southern boy. Eli waxes poetic on being the youngest one in the house, but citing his mentor as Richard Blais (Top Chef contestant, Season 5). Jen fesses up to being unfocused the past few weeks and sets herself up for an all too obvious comeback.

Stalking 'Top Chef Las Vegas': Will Thomas Keller's Bouchon Make an Appearance?

Like we said earlier this week, filming for Top Chef Las Vegas may have ended up but the rumors are still swirling around. Per today's Page Six about the show's wrap party at Blush at The Wynn:

Our tipster also saw Thomas Keller at the bash, hinting that we should expect to see the famed French Laundry and Per Se chef as a guest judge in upcoming episodes.

Thomas Keller is also the chef behind Bouchon, a French brasserie, inside The Venetian's Venezia tower. And with most guest judges on Top Chef, their restaurants often make an appearance on the show as well. So we're thinking Bouchon has a pretty good shot.
