Yesterday, we documented our night in a room at Nobu's first ever hotel. As mentioned there, part of the advertised escapism was achieved through amenity madness and elevated service inside the boutique hotel (within a hotel). Today, we return to provide more details on said amenities and service.
Natura Bissé of Barcelona is the provider of a line of products exclusive to Nobu Hotel and guest rooms are loaded with them. Everywhere we turned there was something new to rub, wash, mist or smell. Enough toiletries, in fact, to kickstart a year of living free if hotel
theft bathroom souvenirs are your thang. For stays longer than a night or two, an extra suitcase might be needed just for take-home toiletries.
VegasChatter loves it some hotel toiletries. In fact, we've gone a whole year without needing to purchase soap, shampoo, or conditioner thanks to our 'free' hotel swag. But, there's toiletries that make you smell like an old lady and then there are amenities that make you smell like a million bucks. Or, at least like three digits.
In Bellagio's Chairman Suite, a sprawling two bedroom penthouse atop the resort's Spa Tower, guests don't just receive the normal personal grooming items we've all come to expect. We make no bones about the fact that we are
cheap bargain hunters here at VegasChatter, and as part of our cheapness bargain hunterdom, we often (ok always) do things like take home hotel toiletries to get the absolute maximum value out of our hotel stay. When we’re feeling ultra hard up, or if they’re especially nice toiletries, we’ll even occasionally take home the half-used soap too. Yes, it’s skuzzy of us, but as we always tell ourselves, otherwise it’d just be going to waste, wouldn’t it?
The center will collect and sanitize soap, shampoos, conditioners and lotions from Vegas hotel-casinos and distribute the products to struggling families throughout the U.S. and more than 40 countries around the world.
