Jeremy Shockey Gets Knocked Out by Rehab at the Hard Rock

Rehab at the Hard Rock, the hotel's seasonal Sunday pool party, has a tongue-in-cheek name but the truth is, many folks partying here might actually be in need of the real rehab.

New Orleans Saints football star Jeremy Shockey collapsed at the pool yesterday, due to "dehydration." He was taken out of the area on a stretcher and then to the hospital. His reps say he will be "fine." Even more embarrassing than a big man falling down in public, the entire thing was caught on tape. Hit up TMZ for all the photos and video. And you'll notice that not even Jeremy Shockey going down can stop the party from partying on.

Meanwhile, over at Encore an audience member at Whoopi Goldberg's show inside the Danny Gans Theater collapsed due to a seizure, forcing Whoopi to shut the show down early so the man could be properly assisted. What happens in Vegas during a holiday weekend, might be too much for some to take.

Comedy Shows for The Young, Old and The Hip Roll into Town This Month

There must be a vortex of wry witticism, one-liners and self-loathing circulating around Las Vegas this month, because there is a baker’s dozen of big-name comedy acts performing in Vegas now through May 30. We can’t remember a time when so many funny folks descended upon Sin City all at once – not even during the Las Vegas Comedy Festival, which draws its fair share of top-tier comedy talent in the fall.

When we say big-name acts, we mean there’s a good chance you’ve heard of all of them, even if HBO comedy specials aren’t part of your viewing repertoire. We’re talking about everyone from Jay Leno to Cheech and Chong to those adorable, cult favorites, The Flight of the Conchords.
