Next Week, 'Garden of the Gods' Will Open and Aria Will Pour Some 'Liquid'
We cannot promise that when you play swim-up blackjack at Caesars that good-looking folk like these will be there.
Better hit the gym and book your spray tan appointments as the Vegas Pool Scene starts to heat up again next week.
Caesars Palace will open its Garden of the Gods pool "oasis" on March 19. If you plan on hitting up this scene, plan to spend a lot of time here, i.e. pace yourself with those bloody marys.
There are now eight pools to frolick in, spaced over three levels and remembering their names will require some careful memory tricks.
There is Fortuna (known for its 18-foot waterfall and swim-up blackjack); Apollo which has maximum sun exposure; Bacchus which is available only to invited guests; Neptune considered the social hub, best for singletons; Jupiter which is the one place people might be able to relax and enjoy spa services from Qua Spa; Temple which is considered to be the family spot and lastly, Venus which will open on April 1 and is a part of the PURE nightclub. Venus will also be the best place to avoid children as only guests 21 and older are welcome.

Aria's Pool Scene Will Be Blessfully Stripper Pole-Free
It’s almost here: bikini season. That time of year when we find out how many people renewed that gym membership after the 7-day free trial.
The pool scene has exploded in Las Vegas where it seems a new pool party opens every week and sometimes closes shortly after (ahem…Sapphire). While not quite sunbathing weather yet on our visit, we sucked it up (and sucked it in) to get an early peek at the newest party crasher on the 2010 scene at Aria.

Vegas Pool Parties Mark End of Pool Party Season By Throwing Pool Parties
Despite what you may believe about Vegas, it's not 100+ degrees here year-round. We told you this on Monday but we'll tell you again--Vegas gets cold in the fall and the winter and when it gets cold, the pool scene usually ain't so happening.
Most Vegas casino hotel pools remain open throughout the year, on the off chance there's a warm day or a New Yorker who thinks 55 degrees and sunny is a reasonable temperature for a swim compared to 15 degrees and rainy back home. Some hotel pools close off sections of their pool because it's simply a waste, others will only open the pools if it's nice out.
The Las Vegas Sun rounded up a few of the already closed hotel pools here and while Rehab at the Hard Rock may have had its last hurrah the other weekend, there are still a few more closing pool parties to attend.

The Simpson Sisters Descend on Wet Republic for Ashlee's Birthday
The weather may be cooling down for the rest of America but in Vegas, the pool party scene remains hot. Or at least lukewarm. "Lonely" Us Weekly cover girl Jessica Simpson will be in attendance at Wet Republic tomorrow to celebrate her sister's, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, birthday.
The official website also mentions "and family" will be in attendance so definitely expect Papa Joe and Mama Tina but no word on Pete Wentz. You can put yourself on the guestlist here or make a pricey reservation.
Room rates at the MGM Grand are currently going for $195 a night. However, we spied a deal on The MGM Grand's Twitter feed that has rooms for tonight and tomorrow at a bargain rate of $99 a night that includes a $25 food and beverage credit and another $25 to use at the spa. We say book it, because you shouldn't overpay to see The Simpson Sisters.

P. Diddy Returns to Host Wet Republic's Pre-Fight Party
Have you perused our recent Dirtiest Pool Scenes story? Wanna experience the dirrty for yourself? One of the scenes on our list, Wet Republic, is throwing a massive party on Saturday before the Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s comeback fight against Juan Manuel Marquez. The host? P. Diddy.
Word is the event will sell-out so guests should arrive early if they want to get in. As with all pool parties, money talks. But the seating options are expensive. A small daybed starts at an insane $500. A large daybed is $750 and a cabana is $2,000. A bungalow is a whopping $3,500. Just attending the party will cost men $40 and ladies $20.

The Dirtiest Pool Scenes in Las Vegas
Earlier this summer our big sister site clued you in on the Five Must See Hotel Pools of Summer 2009, so we figured it was time to clue you in on The Dirtiest Pool Scenes in Las Vegas.
For quite a while now one of the hottest trends in Vegas has been the weekly pool parties. These parties draw thousands of people each week and, well, some of them tend to leave things behind, both figuratively and literally. We didn't get our hands on sanitary records, so don't start thinking the pool scenes we detail below are the ones with the most violations.
For these purposes we are defining dirty sordid, sometimes corrupt, and on the edge of unseemly, and *not* filled with bacteria. However, cleaning up after these pool parties and religiously chemically treating your water can only do so much -- spend some time at these Vegas pools on the days we suggest and you will quickly see why these are the dirtiest pool scenes in Las Vegas.

'Donna Martin Graduates'... to Hosting Azure Pool Party Tomorrow
This Labor Day weekend, celebrity appearances are going to be plentiful throughout Vegas, especially at the Pool Parties. Fans of the original 90210 should hit up Azure at the Palazzo because Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott will be hosting the pool's regular Absolut Saturdays party. Also attending will be Regina King from the NBC show, Southland.
As with every Saturday, a DJ will spin some tunes while the celebs mingle around a cabana and the gawkers wade in the pool sipping manjo mojitos. Azure also has a fashion show that goes off as well. Tomorrow's fashions will come from Piazza Sempione and Michael Kors, both of which are located in the Shops at the Palazzo.
The party starts at 1pm and entry is usually $20 for folks 21 and older. When we were there, the bounces waived the cover saying they'd been lax about that lately. But we'd have a 20 handy just in case.

Jon Gosselin’s Vegas Pool Party (and His Mother) Are Now Behind Us
Looking for all the world like the born-again frat boy he so clearly yearns to be, Jon Gosselin schlepped the blue carpet at his party at Wet Republic wearing an untucked shirt, khaki shorts and flip flops.
We’re breathing sighs of relieve over here that the most scandalous thing he was seen to do was ”chain-smoke, chug bubbly and watch the poolside bacchanalia.” Well, that and the fact he dragged his mother, of all people, along for the fun. Really, Jon, you think your mom wants to see you embracing your new D-list, bachelor lifestyle? We doubt it.

Spying On The Pool Parties: What 'Absolut Saturdays' Are Like at Azure
As the summer pool party scene winds down, there's only a few more weekends left to take advantage of all this wet n' wild weekend revelry. So if we may, let us give you the low down on the pool party scene at Azure at The Palazzo.
Azure is described as an upscale yet still sexy adult pool scene. We popped in the other weekend when singer Estelle (known for her hit duet with Kanye West, "American Boy") performed during the pool's "Absolut Saturdays" event, sponsored by (of course) Absolut vodka.
The crowd was definitely older, on the backside of their 20s and even their 30s in some cases, but still rather rowdy. The small swimming pool at the front of Azure was crowded but there were no giant plastic football mugs of daiquiries being sloshed around here.
Instead cute servers in white and azure-colored bikinis roamed the pool area taking drink and food orders (dishes from Wolfgang Puck's Solaro restaurant and the Canyon Ranch Spa are served). Small cabanas (tricked out with the latest amenities of course) lined the edges of Azure while daybeds lined the edges immediately around the pool.
Then came the entertainment.

Does Jon Gosselin's Pool Party Make Him the New K-Fed?
According to a report by TV Guide, Jon & Kate Plus Eight star Jon Gosselin has been tapped to host a party at Wet Republic on August 29. Turns out he’ll be in town for the fall MAGIC fashion trade show with BFF, Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier (it was Audigier’s St. Tropez-docked yacht where Jon was first snapped canoodling with the 22-year-old “fiancee” Hailey Glassman).
Somehow, never before has the name “Wet Republic” struck us as kind of well, icky, but the thought of the famous father of multiples sweatily ogling the eye-candy from a well-stocked cabana makes us a little bit queasy.
