Bridget and Brody are Ruling the Strip This Weekend

there are only two places you need to be this weekend: at Tao tonight for Brody Jenner’s birthday party and tomorrow afternoon at Azure for Bridget Marquardt’s snowballs.

Brody will be celebrating his 27 years on the planet tonight, while tomorrow, Bridget will cool down Azure with snow machines, ice sculptures and luges, ice cube shots and alcoholic sno cones (oddly similar to the Blizzard on the Beach at Tao Beach today). Because she’s that hot, the place will need it, obviously. Wonder if Holly Madison will pop over to say hello?

Wow, looks like the Lebron James tame scandalous weekend has really put off the celebs this week, because the best you’re gonna get are Shwayze and Cisco Adler at Tao tonight. And when the best you can do is Mischa Barton’s ex boyfriend, you know the A listers are scant on the ground.

What Really Happened When Lebron James Came Into Town?

We knew last week that Lebron James coming to Vegas would bring groupies out of the woodworks. And Lebron probably thought that, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." That is normally true, unless you have an ESPN reporter following you around.

The reporter published an article on what Lebron did during his weekend and although, it contained nothing scandalous--not by pro athlete standards anyways--the story got pulled because the reporter did not properly identify himself.

In fact, his weekend seemed a little boring. Aside from the 48-hour massage on his ego (there were Miami Heat jerseys on everyone, "KING" signs and at one point the club threw talcum powder in the air just as LB does before each game), there was nary a stripper, prostitute, prostidude, drug dealer nor a loan shark or bookie in sight.

Which is actually not that surprising since technically he had a job to fulfill---hosting TAO and LAVO.

Expect Groupies of All Ages as Lebron James, Justin Bieber and Jugglers Come to Town

Conveniently, just as the NBA Summer League has left town, Lebron James decides to show up and host back-to-back parties at LAVO tonight and TAO tomorrow night inside The Palazzo.

Alright, so he also made a stop at Team USA's mini-camp as well but we doubt he even laced up. Whether his new Miami Heat teammates Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh will party alongside him is not certain but what you can expect are lots of NBA Groupies.

Take the chance now to familiarize yourself with the NBA Groupie Hierarchy starting with Gutter Groupies-- "These are the women who will wait outside the arena gates after a game and do anything, sometimes right there in the parking lot." Or possibly outside a Vegas nightclub?

Not interested in Lebron? LA Lakers Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are hosting at PURE tonight; REO Speedwagon and Pat Benatar are playing at the Thomas & Mack Center tonight; Jerry Seinfeld still has tickets at The Colosseum open tomorrow night; Justin Bieber Fever will take over PH tomorrow night and The World Juggling Federation Event continues all weekend long at The Riviera.

A totally gratuitous Freaky Friday this week, although we’d contest that no mention of the delicious Mel B is gratuitous.

Anyhoo. We knew Holly Madison was a woman of good taste, seeing as she revealed a couple of weeks ago that she’s friends with Scary Spice, but we didn’t have Anthony Cools marked down as the same (must have been those weird highlights wot prejudiced us against him).

But according to his Twitter, he’s well tasteful, because he was living it up with Mel last night at Tao. Cools, not only are you a lucky bastard but Mel suits you, because you’re looking pretty fly in that pic. And Mel, as ever, looks smoking. Next time give us a call, yeah?

Last time she was at Tao she umm hung with Usher

It’s a toughie this week. Who could possibly follow in the footsteps of the Jersey Shore crew after they took over town last week? Obviously the celebs feel the same, because they’re mighty thin on the ground this weekend – apart from one brave lady.

Yes, it’s Pamela Anderson’s birthday and she’s making the most of it by throwing two parties – first at Tao Beach during the day, and then moving up to at Tao in the evening. We feel like we haven’t seen Pammy for a while, but this probably means she’s ready to let rip. Bring it on, sister.

For those of you after something classier different, tonight you have “Amber Meade and Sarah Michaels from Love Games” (us neither) at Jet, and on Saturday, Carmen Electra the “sex thimble, as Robin Leach so delightfully named her, and Rob-not-Robert Patterson-not-Pattinson are hosting over at the Crown at the Rio.

You Might Need Tips From the Buddha To Cope With the Wait At Tao

What’s the longest you’ve ever waited for the bill in a restaurant? We normally get up and walk to the exit and demand to pay there if it takes over 20 minutes or so, but a report we heard from Tao last Friday really takes the (slowly served) biscuit.

According to some friends of ours, it took an hour from asking for the check to leaving the restaurant. Yes, one whole hour.

Now, we know things are busy at 10pm on a Friday night. To give Tao the benefit of the doubt, we’ll also wiggle in some exaggeration time, seeing as our friends arrived extremely late to meet us, missed half of the event they were coming to see, and probably needed to lay their ordeal on with a trowel.

But we don’t think that even a mentalist would exaggerate anything under half an hour to a full hour. And by our little white lying standards, we reckon they probably waited 45 minutes minimum. Which, still, is pretty unacceptable, no?

Courtney Love (Surprisingly) Goes to Tao, (Unsurprisingly) Throws A Strop

Courtney and her tidemarks hit the red carpet. And no, we're not sure what the guy to her left is doing either.

Ah, Courtney Love. We’re always up for witnessing a hot mess, so when we heard that she was throwing a party for the launch of her new album (Nobody's Daughter, should you be minded) at Tao on Saturday night, we swiftly wiped the diary.

At first, we thought we were in for a disappointment. She arrived a mere 45 minutes late, and was looking (relatively) respectable sporting a Balenciaga dress and a (slightly glazed) smile.

But hooray for false first impressions! The make up was a bit rough around the edges (serious tidemarks) and we soon noticed that she seemed to be having problems standing up straight (maybe it was the huge silver heels she was battling with, hmm?).

The Kardashian Girls, Courtney Love and Michelle Bombshell Are Livening Up Your Weekend

Don’t get too excited, Kris Jenner won’t be there

Saturday is shaping up to be quite the celeb-starred day in Vegas. During the day, you’ve got Kristin Cavallari hosting at Liquid or the Kardashian clan (as in Kim, Kourtmey and Khloe) throwing a bash for Kourtmey’s 31st at Wet Republic. Poor Kristin - we think there’s little she can do to beat the three Ks in the publicity stakes.

And come evening, there’s Bridget Marquardt at Eve, Ice T and Coco at LAX, but our favorite by a mile, the glorious Courtney Love at Tao, which should be a treat.

Tonight? Nothing much, unless you count that slag Michelle Bombshell dancing at Déjà Vu (as in, the gentlemen’s club). According to the ad (where she’s posing in a coffin, no less), she’ll be signing at the “Love Boutique” from 9-11pm, and then “topless on stage” at midnight. Apologies if you just lost your breakfast.

Will It Be Stephanie Pratt, Heidi Montag or Jessie James This Weekend?

You know it’s a bad weekend in Vegas clubland when the top famewhore celeb in town is Stephanie Pratt. She’ll be hosting at Lavo on Saturday, possibly in an ill-advised underwear set (see above), for her birthday (we don’t care enough to look up which one) as well as hitting Tao Beach in the morning.

Vying for attention with her in the morning will be Heidi Montag who’s hosting at Liquid but probably not testing out her new floatation devices.

Other people in town – tonight, Samantha Ronson is DJing at Tao and Colby O’Donis is having his birthday party at JET (random), while tomorrow, Michael Steger from 90210 is hosting a birthday party for his wife at Eve and Kimberly Caldwell is performing at Haze. We might be washing our hair for those two.

Recession reschmession. According to Sexiest Gossip Columnist Alive(™) Norm Clarke, the big spenders are back in Vegas. Not only did one man with something to prove more money than sense a commendable desire to stimulate the economy spend $152k on champagne plus a $30k tip at Haze on Saturday night, but now Tao is flogging a bottle of Ace of Spades bubbly for $100k.

It’s not just any bottle, obvs – it’s a Nebuchadnezzar, so holds 3.9 gallons of the stuff, and it also happens to be signed by Jay Z, who partied it up there on Saturday night.

The calm before the storm at Jet tonight

Tonight’s a busy night in Vegas clubworld, and to mark it, they’re having another Kardashian-Jersey Shore standoff. Robert Kardashian is celebrating his birthday at Jet, and Pauly D is DJing at Ghostbar at the Palms. The RK hotness or the fist-pumping hot mess – the choice is yours.

If you want to stay clear, Soulja Boy is at Eve tonight (overload – he was at Jet only in January), Travis Barker is at Pure (should be interesting) and Jerome Bettis (oh-kay) is having his 38th birthday party at Tao.

Seem to remember there’s something going on at Caesars tonight as well, but it just slipped our minds.
