What It's Like On the Zappos Headquarters Tour

A friend of VegasChatter did something we've been dying to do for a while--he took the Zappos.com Tour, a free behind-the-scenes look at the culture and the business of the Zappos headquarters in Henderson. Here's all that he saw. Enjoy!
The Zappos Royalty Tour
Ok, that’s not really what they call it. They actually refer to it as "an experience of the Zappos environment." I thought my name was more fitting. Where else but Zappos would you get to meet a cagillionaire, a life coach, have your photo taken wearing a crown as you sit on a royal throne, and learn how to take a company from zero to 1 billion dollars in sales in 10 years … all in 90 minutes? Needless to say, this is not your typical stodgy corporate tour.
It was actually a lot of fun, kind of like a pub crawl without the alcohol.

Visit Las Vegas Will Make Sure You Can Party Like a Rock Star

Vegas is big, bright and loud. Loud in terms of drunk people yelling, "Vegas!!" and also loud in terms of loud music blasting from bars on the Strip, showtunes blaring from speakers throughout the hotel (Venetian, we're talking to you) and loud in the proper sense with rock stars and headliners playing in all the music venues.
VisitLasVegas.com wants you to be in the know when it comes to that last part, the rock stars, headliners and awesome concerts in Vegas. With their new feature, you can plan your trip around a concert if you want to.
Just head to the website's new Play Louder site, which Visit Las Vegas describes as your own personal tour manager, and find out who's in town playing where, music and musician news and where the after-parties are.
It'll even give you ideas for where to grab a bite to eat near the show before or bars and clubs to hit up after. It's like our own very organized tour manager. Oh, wait, they did describe this site like that. Well, they're right.
Search the site by date, artist or venue to find who/what you want easy. Next time you plan a Vegas trip, consider using the Play Louder site for seeing your favorite rock stars in town...then try to rub elbows with them at the after party.
